" Extreme Waves "
I was able to scramble down near the ocean during an incoming tide and between storms to capture some violent waves crashing the walls at Cape Kiwanda.
" Kiwanda Formations "
Years of pounding storms and erosion have formed some very unique formations at Cape Kiwanda, Oregon.
" Stormy Seas "
I could easily spend a full week in and around the cape. It's truly mesmerizing to watch the ever-changing waves and light show.
" Light Rays Over Bay"
Beams of light illuminating the bay near Tillamook Oregon.

" River Light "
The Clackamas River in Oregon
" Japanese Gardens "
Portland's Japanese Gardens are near the Oregon Zoo and the Rose Test Gardens. You will find several acres of Japanese Maples, rock gardens, sculptures and ponds filled with Koi. Best time to visit is late october and early November for fall foliage color. Right after a fresh snowfall the park is stunning .May is another great time for spring flowers. I recommend mid to late afternoon to allow for sunlight to filter through the heavy tree canopy..
" Oregon Vineyards "
This Vineyard belongs to Duck Pond Cellars out Of Dundee Oregon. The vines you see here are located in Turner Oregon.
" Wind Turbines"
I found these wind turbines outside of Goldendale Washington aesthetically pleasing. This is the sort of landscape that is indicative of what you may find for many miles east of the Dalles, Oregon. Goldendale sits just northeast on the Washington side of the Gorge up from Biggs Junction. These Turbines are a great alternative for clean energy although they are met with scrutiny from preservation groups like “ Friends Of The Gorge “
