" Mt Hood From Larch Mt "
At 4056' Larch Mountain offers some spectacular views of 5 of the prominent Cascade Mountains. Be prepared for fog and low clouds on many nights that will often obstruct these views.
" Columbia Gorge Panorama "
My first attempt at a pano. I really enjoy shooting these and hope to improve on this technique ; the only way to take a true panographic photo is with a pano head. Pano heads are quite expensive but there are plans on the web to craft you're own with wood. This view of the Gorge is taken from Upper McCord Creek Falls.
" First Snow On Mt Hood "
" Alpenglow From Timothy Lake "
The tip of Mt. Hood illuminated by the last light of day looking across Timothy Lake, Oregon.
" White River Falls "
This is a magnificent place to catch 4 waterfalls in a slighty remote area of Tygh Valley approximatly 30miles south of the Dalles, Oregon. It’s worth going in the spring as well as the fall for obvious reasons morning light is ideal as the evening sun presents exposure problems.
