Photographing these horses is very exciting as they are very timid and stealth must be used. Most of the horses you see here are on the tribal lands of the Warm springs Reservation in Oregon
This was another very enjoyable day of shooting for us. We had heard through a friend that there were unfenced wild horses just outside Kah-Nee-Ta Resort on the warm Springs Indian Reservation. Althogh timid these horses allowed us to get fairly close with the 200mm lens. i really needed longer glass but just didn't have it. The horses really seemed to pose for us, very enjoyable. Mt Hood is the backdrop for this shot and just on the other side of the road Mt Jefferson provides an equally picturesque shot.
